It’s always totally fun to watch when two celebrities date, get married and/or go through a horrific break-up i.e. Brangelina, Bieber & Selena, Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise and so many more I can think of (that are totally old school). What’s more fun is when it’s on TV – remember Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson?
Korea has their own version of this type of TV show called: Shin Hon Il Gi – Newlyweds Diary. The first season last year followed TV star newlyweds Ku Hye-Sun and Ahn Jae-Hyun. Ahn Jae-Hyun managed to melt the hearts of many women in Korea with his sweet talk and caring ways. He was also often the one in the kitchen BUT Ku Hye-Sun still definitely made it into the kitchen and was much about improvising ie. today’s simple sandwich!
Korean toast sandwiches most often include a version of eggs and sliced ham but alas, they had none of that in their fridge and so she managed to improve with what was on hand. I (and most of Korea) must admit that we were pretty skeptical of what the resulting sandwich would taste like but surprisingly, it is VERY yummy and I’ve made it several times now, particularly on days I feel a little bit lazy.
Enjoy this simple but tasty sandwich for that lazy day.

Her husband is obviously happy, surprised and impressed!
